Jacques OLIVIER,

 French master craftsman art

tradition and high-tech

As a result of his many travels, Jacques OLIVIER has learnt the skills of the “cathedral builders”. He is a recognised craftsman who combines traditional know-how with state of the art  technologies.

The career of an enthusiast

Jacques OLIVIER has been passionate about metalworking since his earliest days and chose professional training from the age of 15. He set off on the traditional craft apprentice’s “tour de France”, meeting and learning from a range of craftspeople. He was gradually able to develop his own techniques with metals by drawing on the experience of the greatest French craftsmen. In the course of his apprenticeship he worked with steel (including stainless steel), aluminium, brass and bronze, all noble and demanding materials.

International recognition

Jacques OLIVIER was 25 when he set up his own business. Just six months later, he won his first major contract involving 1,000 m2 of glazing. The company's unique know-how quickly attracted the attention of architects and contractors. Jacques Olivier directed the company from 1988 to January 2007, in a range of projects involving glazing, staircases, metalwork etc.
In 1992, Jacques OLIVIER and his teams collaborated with the Ateliers Saint Jacques Métallerie on a 15-million Franc project for the Palace of the Emir of Bahrain.
Each creation is unique and requires know-how and innovation.
